Enterprise Arcitecture and IT Strategy

IT Strategies Group was founded as an IT architecture firm, we currently have on staff, the full spectrum of architecture skills, from enterprise architects to solution architects.  Our team members have not only worked for Fortune 500 companies, each within thriving architecture teams, they have also worked with many (all sizes) companies to implement or enhance client's enterprise architecture programs.

At ITSG, we focus on the following types of architecture engagements:

  • Enterprise Architecture (EA) consulting- Our enterprise architects will work with your team to either start a new EA program or enhance / optimize your existing program.

  • Enterprise Architecture as a Service (EAaaS)- Subscription service for those who are not interested in a managed service and who don't want the overhead of having their own EA team.

  • Enterprise Architecture MSP-  For organizations that take advantage of our managed services, we provide a comprehensive solutions that includes:

    • Your current IT's ability to support your business services today and over the next 3 to 5 years

    • An inventory or your current IT assets and capabilities

    • A roadmap outlining any identified, necessary updates, upgrades and functional enhancements

At a high level, IT related architecture sounds very simple:

  • Understand the business drivers and goals for IT

  • Understand and document the IT current state (what infrastructure exists, applications, databases, security, etc.) and any constraints or issues

  • Determine if there is a gap between what the business needs today and in the future and the IT capabilities to support it

  • Create a roadmap to take IT from where it is, to where it needs to go

The hard part is knowing how to:

  • Gather business inputs and how they impact IT

  • How to quickly gather and then document current state

  • Most importantly how to put together a transition plan that makes sense for the client.

We have a proven track record using these skills to help organizations large and small.
