Pandemic Planning for Small / Medium Sized Business
Middleton, WI: IT Strategies Group is announcing a series of seminars aimed at helping small and medium sized business understand how a pandemic can affect their business. The seminar will discuss some ways to reduce transmission within the organization during the onset of an outbreak, but will mainly focus on ensuring key business functions can be kept up and running.
“While we hope that our communities are spared the brunt of any pandemic, the CDC has recommended that businesses prepare for the worst and hope for the best,” says Kevin McDaniel, President & Principle Consultant at IT Strategies Group.
The seminar will provide information on:
Basics per the CDC on how to reduce transmission in the workplace if the pandemic is found in your community
Discuss the need to understand core functions, how those functions must be maintained (and manned), and determine minimum staffing levels
Discuss the possibility of offering remote work options, the challenges that might present themselves, and some very cool things that Microsoft and Google are doing to help
We will be hosting two sessions on March 12th at Community CoWorks in Middleton (3030 Laura Lane, Suite 200). The first session will run from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and the second session will run from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. Refreshments will be provided.
We have thirty (30) spots available in each session.
